Assessor

The City maintains a full value assessment program through the services of Accurate Appraisal LLC.  New construction and permitted improvements continue to be inspected annually.  Properties are assessed using a market value analysis with necessary adjustments made to keep the assessed values at 100%. Property owners are notified prior to physical inspections being conducted and also when changes are made to their assessed value.

If you receive personal property assessments and are no longer in business, please notify the City Clerk or the City Assessor. If you have not notified the City prior to the Board of Review, you are responsible for that bill.

You may contact Accurate Appraisal at (920)749-8098 or at their website http://www.accurateassessor.com/.

The assessor will be available for Open Book any time from when you receive your notice through May 15, 2024.  Roll viewing at the City Administration offices for individuals without access to a computer is Wednesday, April 17, 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  To schedule an appointment with the assessor during open book hours visit www.accurateassessor.com and click the online appointments link at the top of the screen.  You may also contact them at other times with your assessment questions.

If you disagree with the assessor's assessment of your property, you can attend the Board of Review meeting.  Board of Review is Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers at the City Administration Offices.  You need to file paperwork at least 48 hours prior to Board of Review.   Contact the City Clerk for the paperwork that needs to be completed prior to attending the meeting and to schedule a time.
